Author: Vipin, Founder of Furrvy
Vipin built Furrvy’s daycare hours around the reality of Gurgaon’s working schedules, long commutes and long office days included.
Furrvy daycare runs 8 AM to 8 PM, which comfortably covers a standard 9 to 6 working day with room either side for commuting. Full day daycare costs Rs 800, giving your dog structured play, meals, and rest while you are at work, rather than being left alone for 9 or more hours with no outlet.
Furrvy is a pet daycare and boarding centre in Gurgaon (also Gurugram) with centres in Sector 58 and Sector 27.

Does Daycare Actually Fit a Gurgaon Work Schedule?
Furrvy’s 8 AM to 8 PM hours are built with a typical Gurgaon working day in mind, including buffer time for commuting on both ends, which matters given how unpredictable Gurgaon traffic can be. A 9 to 6 office schedule fits comfortably within that window for most professionals.
This buffer is not just a nice extra, it reduces the pressure of a tight pickup window after a long or delayed commute home.
What Does My Dog Actually Do While I’m at Work?
Your dog gets supervised play, grouped by size and temperament, meals during set slots, and rest in an air conditioned indoor area through the day, rather than simply waiting somewhere until you return. Photo updates are sent through the day, so you can check in during a work break.
This structure matters more for some dogs than others, a high energy or social dog is likely to benefit more from a full active day than a naturally calm dog would.
Is Daycare Worth It Compared to Other Options?
At Rs 800 for a full day, daycare often compares reasonably against a dedicated dog walker or sitter, particularly once you factor in supervised play, meals, and rest rather than just a single walk. Whether it is genuinely worth it for you depends on your dog’s actual needs and your specific schedule, not a universal answer.
If you use it regularly, the 10 day pass at Rs 5,000 and 20 day pass at Rs 10,000 lower the effective cost, which suits a working professional using daycare most weekdays.
What If My Work Schedule Is Unpredictable?
If your hours vary from week to week, single visit pricing gives you the flexibility to book only on the days you actually need it, rather than committing to a fixed pass. This suits professionals with irregular hours or occasional late nights better than a rigid schedule would.
How Do I Know If My Dog Actually Needs This?
Watch for chewing, excessive barking, or an overexcited or anxious greeting when you get home late from work, common signs that a dog may be struggling with long stretches alone. Not every dog shows these signs, some cope well with a quiet day at home, so this is worth judging based on your own dog’s behaviour rather than assuming daycare is necessary by default.
The RSPCA has useful guidance on recognising whether a dog is coping well with time alone, which is a reasonable starting point if you are unsure.
